Bikinis & Horses
I had the best photoshoot ever with my friend Jack who always brings me beautiful bikinis, lingerie and antique military outfits to model for him. These are the “PG” ones! Jack lovingly paid for Dancer’s vet visit tomorrow and brought all the horses carrots. If you are a photographer, be like Jack who has never been impolite with me, and is one of the only photographers I still work with.
I’ll be trailering Dancer to the vet as they need to use power tools to clean his ol man teeth and possibly pull some yucky ones.. Pray for Dancer to be tolerant as he has a heart palpitation issue and we can’t use sedation on him or we risk heart failure. So we have to use literal power tools in his mouth, no drugs and pray he is a sweet little angel man and understand we are only trying to help him. Dancer has been losing weight quickly the last few months as his teeth are not doing so well. I’ve been feeding him copious amounts of soaked grains with all his favorite things on top, and yet still his weight dwindles. Usually in fall I fatten up the horses as much as healthily possible because come winter they all end up losing weight due to the cold, even with their nightly blankies.

Today was a stormy day of horse hooves, while the farrier and I got all 7 horses hooves perfectly pedicured. After visiting Black Beauty (an off site rescue I still help with medical/hooves), I decided to bite the bullet and go pay down my vet bill. I had to anyways to be able to buy Tater’s medication. I was fully expecting the balance to be around 4-5 thousand dollars, and was only going to be able to make a small dent in the amount owed. I asked timidly what my balance due was, and the office lady said, “Well nothing, its fully paid and the effective balance is $0”. MY SHOCK!!!!!!!!!! Who did this!?!? Was my immediate reply. She said she couldn’t tell me, but that someone had called in and been making payments on my balance. I am just SO HAPPY and grateful! And not only me, but the whole office was giddy exclaiming “There are still good people in this world!” It really made everyone’s day to witness a kind miracle like this. I am so DEEPLY grateful, and I wanted to make a thank-you video so that whomever did this could know I just found out, but i look really INSANE after 7 hours in the pouring rain with makeup all over my face (No one told me that either!) lol.. So I will make a proper thank you video with the horses tomorrow, but just know, whomever you are, angels kiss your head and shoulders, and you made my life SO much better with your generosity. THANK YOU! I’m just tearfully giddy with smiles. What an unbelievable kindness!

I am moving in one week! Things are nuts here, for the fourth time since starting Heart of Gold Sanctuary, my nonprofit horse rescue, we are picking up and moving again. We are searching high and low for acreage to buy that the horses can call their forever home. One day we will move and then never move again.. That’s basically my whole fantasy, to own a home with land for the horses and for us to live together in peace and without ever hearing one f*cking word from permit police. ever. I’m going to building stuff on my land the end.

Well darlings, ironic that we should be thinking of picnics at a time like this.. Today was the first raindy day of the coming fall season, and also my second day in bed with what I believe was food poisoning. Luckily, after about 6 oil of oregano pills I have killed the bacteria and regaining my strength by the hour. I suspect that I’ll be on my feet and dancing new seductress routines for you by tomorrow!
